Days Nine Ten and Eleven

Day 9 - 
9th day of flossing
2nd day of working out.  


Habit: Flossing
Did I do it? yes


Habit: Working Out:
Did I do it? Yes I did 10 Minute Yoga Solutions - Warm up, buns and thighs, abs, and cool down (skipped the yoga burn cus I was already burning).  


Day 10
10th day of flossing
3rd day of working out.  


Habit: Flossing - 
Did I do it? yes


Habit: Working OUt
Did I do it? no.  Why not (I was grumpy and hosted a middle school party that night.  When I don't get enough sleep working out is harder than usual.  Not really and excuse I still could have fit a work out in, but it's good to remember that habits build on each other.  


Day 11-
11th day of flossing
4th day of working out.  

Habit: Flossing
Did I do it? yes - after my shower, before we went to Thanksgiving dinner


Habit: Working Out
Did I do it? yes - Turkey Day 5K through downtown MInneapolis.

Day 8

Day 8 - 
8th day of flossing
1st day of working out.  


Habit: Flossing - 
Did I do it? after lunch




New Goal / habit - working out (21 different work outs in 21 days) 




Habit: Work out
Did I do it? Yes after lunch I did the "Dance of the Inches: Calorie Blasting Party" on netflix.  It was a good fit for my current low level of fitness, but would probably be to easy if I were in slightly better shape/practice.  That said, I had fun and I feel really good now.  



Days 4 - 7

Day 4
Habit: Flossing - 
Did I do it? Yes - yes, before work


Day 5
Habit: Flossing
Did I do it? Yes before work/evelyn's funeral


Day 6

Habit: Flossing
Did I do it? Yes before work



Day 7

Habit: Flossing
Did I do it? Yes before work

So this weeks goal, Floss every day for 21 days.  It is specific, it is measurable, aachievable, realistic, time bound.  It's not really exciting, but I guess not having gum disease is a fairly nice if not exciting, it is recorded here on the blog.  

So this week's goal.  Exercise every day for at least a half hour every day for twenty one days.  Twenty One different work outs?  That sounds great.

Day 3 - Flossing


Day 3
Habit: Flossing
Did I do it? Yes, after my nap.  My gums do feel tighter, but they are a little sore today.  Trying to decide what my next habit should be.  
Water? 
Exercise?
Vitamins?
I think that I will probably do water next week.

Did I do it? Yes, after lunch, gums feel more firm already.  Wondering if mouthwash after flossing helps or if it's just in my head.

Day 1 - Flossing

Day 1
Habit: Flossing
Did I do it? Yes, at 11:30, after I realized that I had overslept and missed my dentist appointment.  A second chance to not get in trouble after not flossing.  Let's see if I can build this habit in 21 days.  I almost always forget to floss, today it was painful and bloody and gross, hopefully it will improve in the next 21 days.
